Stryn Kaffebar & Vertshus

The room I stayed in was cozy but quite compact, making it challenging to organize my belongings. I really enjoyed the restaurant downstairs. The dinner was delicious and offered great value for the price. Exploring the nearby sights was a breeze, with a charming church and stunning nature spots not too far away. Having good coffee available was definitely a highlight of my stay.

Everything was fine with modern and cozy rooms. Lovely beds and a refrigerator, an iron and ironing board, and a work desk. Great location close to shops and with a view on mountain. Next to two mountains as well as the surrounding area. Family atmosphere, variety of excellent dishes. What a very nice stay, no reason to complain.

The room I stayed in felt cramped and had a very small wash basin. The steep stairs leading to the room posed a challenge when carrying luggage. To add to the discomfort, I was disturbed by noise from the common areas, especially during the early morning hours, which significantly impacted my rest.

The hospitality we received was really good, especially the staff's willingness to provide us with excellent local recommendations.

The noise from the bar below was quite disruptive at night, especially on weekends, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

Family room felt cramped!!! The noise from loud trucks at night made it hard to sleep!!! The shower was too small for anyone over 5'7", causing a frustrating experience during bathing!!!

The coffee at Kaffebar & Vertshus was fantastic. Truly one of the best I've had! Breakfast was freshly made and delicious, especially the croissant I picked. The staff was super accommodating. Waking up to the smell of fried onions and eggs was not pleasant, especially since I prefer a lighter breakfast. The room, while cozy, had some issues with cleanliness. I noticed a lot of hair and fluff on the floor, which wasn't ideal. The atmosphere was cute, with a nice vibe around the place, although it could get noisy due to thin walls.

It was just a reliable pick for taking strolls in Stryn with definitely value for money. The coffee here was a highlight, some of the best I've enjoyed! Try to avoid peak hours if you're sensitive to noise.

The bed reminded me of a cloud, and the shower was super refreshing. Enjoyed breakfast with a fine view outside. The staff were so friendly. Only thing was the noise from the hall. Sometimes made it hard to sleep.

Just a good pick for a brief stop-in in Stryn with good price-quality ratio. The dinner at the restaurant was delicious and definitely exceeded my expectations. Try to visit the café when it's less crowded for a more relaxed experience.

Perfect for Families Looking for Comfort

The staff really were really good too help us out, especially when we had an issue with our plans at Geiranger. They provided great recommendations! We loved the cozy atmosphere and the friendly vibe of the place. The food? Oh man, the fish soup was out of this world! We tried both dinner and breakfast, and nothing disappointed!

It wasn't exactly cheap, but totally reasonable for what you get.

The room was new-fashioned and nice, with an extra bed and the adjacent bedroom. the staff and the owner were all amiable and helpful. This location was perfect and particularly good, not far from Stryn and the surrounding area, the center of Stryn, and the center of the village.
